Students love to help - ask a student to be responsible for sharp pencils, clean desk, and tidying up glue sticks and so on. Use the same clear English instructions in each lesson. For young leaners try "Please pass me one piece of square red paper that is next to yellow scissors".

The Carp Streamer Festival, known as "Koinobori," is celebrated in Japan on May 5th as part of Children's Day. During this festival, families display colorful carp-shaped windsocks outside their homes. The carp, or koi, symbolize strength, courage, and perseverance, as they are believed to swim upstream and overcome obstacles. Each family member is represented by a different colored carp: a black one for the father, a red or pink one for the mother, and smaller ones for the children. The festival aims to promote the healthy growth and happiness of children.
