Children's English Books Read Aloud Videos - Storytime

By Mr. Tim of The Magic Crayons

The read aloud books and videos on The Magic Crayons website are resources for teachers to use in the classroom and parents at home to promote language development and reading skills among students. They consist of picture books, chapter books, and early reader books that are read aloud by Mr. Tim of The Magic Crayons. He was previously an IB International School Librarian. The photos on this page are from his timsensei.com Saturday English classes held in a Preschool in Machida, Japan. The read alouds are intended to be interactive and engaging, encouraging students to ask questions, make predictions, and share their own thoughts and experiences related to the stories.

Allow students to absorb each new page before reading. Top tip: for the page where David runs down the street substitute Davids name for names of the students or the classroom teacher. Hilarity will ensue.
